science fiction short film festival

The last two years I had Scot to help prod me to go and spend four hours on my butt watching 20 short SF films, from the awful to the sublime, in one afternoon. Now he’s gone and gotten a dang job that includes weekends. Can I find a victim to go with me this [...]

seattle burlesque

It’s a burgeoning scene, the resurgence of burlesque in Seattle. First I was at DVD release party on Friday night. The director of the world-renowned Nashwan movie was there. She’s currently in the mad frenzy of editing a rough cut of her burlesque documentary, A Wink and a Smile in time to for the entry [...]

zombies–part of nature’s perfect plan

I wrote about the zombie cockroaches. I showed you the picture of me in my zombie state. Now Carol sent me this link of interest to zombiphiles, zombie slayers, and archeologists everywhere: evidence of an ancient zombie attack.

Even though this alleged deity has yet to be found hovering over the U.S.A., people are still busy trying to insert religion into public schools and government.

Senator Sam Brownback recently tried to [...]

michigan boy stumbles into 21st century

I posted part two of the photo circus below the other one (two posts down) so it travels in chronological order, ending in 2002. My concise human-caterpillar larva to bozo photo-travelogue.
“We are going to die, and that makes us the lucky ones. Most people are never going to die because they are never going to [...]
