“infidel” by ayaan hirsi ali

Standard

Everyone on the planet should read this book. Just thought I’d mention it. You may not agree with all her politics, but her experiences growing up in a poor, fundamentalist Islamic family in Africa are amazing and eye-opening. Her more recent adventures as an immigrant and then politician in Holland are equally enlightening. Her significance as a force for feminism in the Arabic and African world can’t be overestimated.
