I wanted to say something fitting about the passing of Ray Bradbury. I’ve already blogged about the fact that I think he wrote one of the best opening lines of a novel. The first words of Something Wicked This Way Comes: “The lightning rod seller arrived just ahead of the storm.”
Ray made you realize that the greatest adventure of all could begin in your own backyard. But instead of me trying to write about him, I found this link where Bradbury says it all better than anyone else could. He’s probably embellishing the heck out this story as he tells it, but that doesn’t matter.
