And I’m not going to get enough sleep ’cause I stayed up to watch. It cost NASA a couple billion dollars to do one of the most amazing things the human race has every accomplished. Just as a comparison, in the U.S. we spend $22 billion on pizza each year. We can afford these Mars missions and other planetary missions. If all goes well, the Mini Cooper sized Curiosity will accomplish a great deal of exploration and knowledge gathering as it scales a mountain in the center of a Martian crater.
