Did you know the best theater experience in Seattle today is a free (pay-what-you-will) performance? It’s unfortunate that I saw it just before the end of the run so I couldn’t recommend it earlier. Right now the remaining opportunities are tonight (August 3, 2013) and tomorrow afternoon.
It helps to have a terrific script; John Patrick Shanley’s “Doubt.” It doesn’t hurt to have a terrific cast and director. I have no connection with anyone connected to the production; just impressed with the show. Theater 9/12. Watch for their next show if you miss this one.
All praise to local, small theater. I still remember a decade ago seeing a first-class, award-worthy production of “A Streetcar Named Desire” at the late Theater Babylon.
