warm clothes, food

Credit belongs to the local Burners Without Borders group. They decided to make packets to distribute to homeless people in Seattle. The packages contained wool socks, hand warmers, skin care powder, a five dollar  bill, and other amenities. There were also sandwiches. I was glad I was able to contribute some cash and time.

Temps were in the low 30s, but felt much colder thanks to Seattle’s humid air. Starting at Westlake, we went down to the market and then to Pioneer Square before running out of goodies. Long after the packets were gone, I kept seeing people who could have used them. I think that every time I go out for a while, I’m going to be noting people who could use some supplies.
